June Sustainability update

You may remember that back in February the Sustainability team invited us all to complete a survey about how we travel to work.  The results are now in and show that cycling to work has increased, as has zero carbon methods when travelling between campuses.  The results also showed that better public transport discounts should be offered for transport at the University.  You can read the full report here.

Also this week, we have the latest edition of the  Green Champions newsletter which rounds up all the University’s sustainability news.  You’ll see that we’re saying good-bye to our Commute for Change campaign, but looking forward to our next challenge of Energy Reduction.  This probably ties in nicely with Bernie’s Sustainability Team as I know Energy Reduction in the Directorate is something they are discussing.

If you have any queries about sustainability please either contact your Green Champions (Fiona, Rachel, Ros and James).
