Our Directorate runners are gearing up for this year’s Sheffield Half Marathon, which is taking place next Sunday, 9 April.  Thanks to Tom for the fab photo below which shows the view from the top of the race at Ringinglow.

Tom (SPI) and Jon (BIS) will be running with about 40 other members of staff from Hallam to raise money for the Hallam Fund, with a target of £5,000.  Donations will be very gratefully received and can be made here.

The fund provides bursaries for those from disadvantaged backgrounds and under represented groups including students from the lowest household income brackets; those who are leaving care; who have caring responsibilities; are estranged from their family; and those facing homelessness.  £5,000 would provide support bursaries for 10 students.  Find out more about the fund.

Louise and Debbie (both Corp Rep) are also running.  Louise is running with a friend who suffers from alopecia and they are fundraising for Alopecia UK.  Please help them to hit their target.
