As part of action Inv2 which is to set up a volunteering programme to give everyone the opportunity to spend 1 day a year helping out a local charity / organisation, I have met with our Student’s Union.

Dan Williams the Volunteer Support Worker in the SU has agreed to help us with this action, and went through all the different local organisations that they already have relationships with. Using those I have created a short survey, where we would like you to rate the different opportunities in order of preference.

The survey will be open for 3 weeks (closing on Sunday 19th March), so if you think you would like to take part in a Volunteering Day this year – please complete it.

We will share the results and which Charities were most popular, shortly after the survey closes.
