My weekly emails to you all seem to be getting longer and longer so I thought I would start putting all the reminders and ‘bits and pieces’ in one blog post each week.
I started writing this and realised that the blog post needed a title – so Team Finance this is where you come in, let’s test the ‘I’ in ‘THRIVE’, and see what titles for these weekly reminder blog posts you can come up with.
I will then call them the same thing every week so you know where to go and what kind of things will be inside it.

Strategy
Last Friday Robert emailed us all about the University strategy refresh, you can find the documents the VC sent out here.
Management Accounts – you should be having discussions about the strategy and your feedback sent straight to Robert.
Financial Services – Following the briefing session delivered by Simon any feedback should be sent to your Engagement Champion.
All feedback needs to be sent by the end of the month (next Wednesday).
Questions for CFPO Deborah Harry
On 14th December Deborah Harry our new CFPO will be joining us for our team brief. If any of you have anything you would like to know about Deborah she will be answering your questions – please email them to Gill by Friday 9th December.
Charity Group
We can still accept your bric-a-brac for the Amy’s House market stall next Friday. If you have been putting off having that clear out then this weekend would be a good time – we can accept any books, cd’s, dvd’s, toys and homeware that you don’t want anymore.
A few of you have asked us if you can donate to Amy’s House instead of sending Christmas Cards this year. And the answer is of course you can, you can help save the trees and give to an amazing cause. We have set up a donations page on JustGiving so you can donate any amount you like to Amy’s House and if you Gift Aid it they will get even more money.
Appraisal
Our appraisal survey closes on Sunday, 82 of you have already completed it, but if you haven’t had chance yet you still have time. It only took me about 5 minutes to do and we want as many of you as possible to fill it in so we can use your feedback for future appraisal rounds.
Calendar Competition
You still have chance to submit your photos before the deadline on Monday at noon. The weather for this weekend is giving dry and overcast – perfect conditions for getting some good snaps if you don’t have any! Here are the entries so far.
