I have recently taken over the Services and Future Improvements project from Vanessa, and with two teams down it is now Financial Accounts turn to take centre stage. On Wednesday 27th April I held my first workshop with them.
Being relatively new to the Finance Directorate I was looking forward to this workshop as my knowledge of what Financial Accounts do was limited. The workshop was really interesting, and I discovered that the team does a lot! They managed to cover two flip charts full of post-it notes with the top level activities that they carry out.
Over the next few weeks I will be arranging feedback meetings with the stakeholders that they identified, and typing up the workshop content for the team to approve. I will then be able to use this as the basis for some of my conversations with their stakeholders.
Analysing all the information that we gather will take some time, but once the work is completed I will be able to share with you some of our findings on here in the next couple of months.
