I wanted to give you an update on some of the things we have been doing and tell you about some things we will be doing soon:
Engagement Working Group
The Engagement Working Group met on the 22nd March; it was our review session to see if this group would continue. Our Engagement Champions decided that the group should carry on which is excellent news. We will continue to meet once a month, but the meeting will just be an hour from now on. The group continue to come up with new ideas and are invaluable in helping us on our engagement quest.
Action Plan
The action plan has been ticking along nicely. We have now completed 24 actions, we have 31 in progress and 18 which are not started yet. We have come to our first milestone; Many of our Quick Wins are now completed. For more information please look at the action log:
Team Brief Feedback
The team brief was held on 23rd March. The wonderful Kelly Betts very kindly collated your feedback. The feedback was was really positive; 77% of those who filled in the form rated the meeting at 4 or above. Thank you to all of you for completing the feedback forms. This information will be used to help inform the next all team brief.
Values
Today (1st April) we had the second instalment of our values THRIVE. Today the spotlight is on HONESTY:

What’s happening next?
- Our first Pulse Survey will be launching on Monday 4th April and will be open until 15th April. Please take the time to fill this in. We promise it will take less than 5 minutes. In our Health Check in September we had 94 participants – lets try to beat this, this time. We really want to know what you think. Look out for an email from Philip on Monday with the link in to complete the survey. The results will be published on the 22nd April on the blog.
- Charity Board – Our first meeting is on the 5th April. Thank you to Grazina Manchester, Efe Eruero, and Vic Mottershaw for volunteering to be part of this group.
The group will be looking at setting a loose programme of events, and creating the criteria for a nominated charity for the directorate. We will soon be asking you to put forward charities you are interested in supporting; so keep an eye out for that. If anyone else is interested, there is still time, just drop me an email, give me a call or pop round for a chat.
