Thank you to the 94 of you who filled in the Employee Engagement Health Check. Here is a quick summary (Click on the image below to make it bigger, click on it twice to have an even closer look):
All of the questions were split into categories called enablers these are based on research done by the think tank Engage for success:
- Leadership and management
- Employee Voice
- Strategic Narrative
- Integrity
- Involvement.
Each enabler has been given as score and fit into one of 3 categories:
- Low – area for immediate action
- Average – monitor progress
- High – best practice area.
For all of these categories we scored average. We are on the whole happy with these results, as we had such a good participation rate, people were honest, there is room for improvement, and we will be looking at ways to improve this.
6 out for the 25 questions that fit into an enabler category scoring in the High section of engagement, and are best practice areas.
What next? These results, will be taken to the new Employee Engagement Working Group to discuss how and what we intend to do to make the directorate a better place.
