Please send us a project outline so we can assess suitability<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The ECM is a class 4 laser controlled area and as such access will be restricted to trained staff and students. ECM will follow MERI lab safety regulations and implements additional regulations specific to the ECM\u00a0lab.<\/p>\n<h5><b>Minimum requirements for staff and students:<\/b><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">MERI lab safety awareness course or equivalent<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ECM lab induction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Application specific training<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Laser safety awareness course (Public Health England or equivalent) for working on the laser systems and for lab access during work with laser systems<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Specific additional training will be offered by ECM as required.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The lab will be open to prospective and funded research.
