This year, the University held its largest Graduation to date with a record-breaking 23 ceremonies. Over the fortnight, Sheffield City Hall welcomed 7,770 graduates and 30,000 guests – a huge logistical operation and an even bigger team effort, with colleagues from across the University working closely with the Events Team.

No matter the role, all are vital in ensuring each Graduation ceremony runs smoothly, contributing to the experience of both the graduates and their guests. Thank you to all staff involved, whose hard work makes our ceremonies a success.

Each year, we’re keen to gather feedback to make further improvements. If you worked any part of Graduation, please take just a few minutes to complete this online form – we want to hear your thoughts.

We’re already starting to plan for Graduation 2020 (taking place between Monday 9 – Friday 20 November) so if you’re thinking about volunteering for next year, include your name on this list.
