New IT Service Request Site is now live

Digital Technology Services (DTS) is improving the way in which you can request IT services. From today, a new self-service request portal gives staff the ability to search for, select and track a number of commonly required IT services.

This portal will replace the rather dated IT request forms which some staff currently use. If you have any links saved to the current service request pages (or the individual forms) these will not work when the new portal becomes live.

From Tuesday 18  December 2018 you will be able to use our new portal by following the ‘My IT Requests‘ links on the left of the DTS intranet pages.  Or you can save this link in your favourites:  https://itservicedesk.shu.ac.uk

The portal is easy to use and there will be guidance along with tips on how to get the best out of the service.

The introduction of the new self-service portal does not affect the way in which you can contact DTS for urgent IT support or to report IT issues. Please continue to use telephone x3333, email ithelp@shu.ac.uk or the chat service at go.shu.ac.uk/chat
