One way that we can support our students to optimise the value and influence of their work and share original contributions to knowledge and understanding, is through supporting doctoral students to publish.  One responsibility of supervisors is to support students to disseminate their research findings.  In this session we focus specifically on writing with doctoral students.  We will look at:

• Setting expectations about co-publishing in line with research integrity and intellectual property guidelines
• Introducing our students to the process of publication
• Encouraging students to publish as they go; establishing post-doctoral publication plans.
