Academic Conduct Panel Training for Doctoral Students and GTAs involved in marking

11 October 2021 @ 13:00 - 15:30

This training is aimed at doctoral students and graduate teaching assistants, especially those with marking responsibilities.

The training will be delivered by Jill Lebihan – Head of Student Engagement

By the end of the session, you should be clear about the key points of the academic conduct regulations and where to find help and information on this matter.  You will also learn where to direct your students for additional support and training.  The session will explore some high-level expectations about academic integrity, and some pointers on how to identify different kinds of cheating. There will also be advice on what to do if you uncover cheating.

Prior to the session, you might want to take a brief look at the academic conduct regulation: Academic Conduct Regulations or take the European Network for Academic Integrity diagnostic test via https://www.academicintegrity.eu/survey/

You can join the session via Zoom – the joining link can be found in the Friday email from 17 September – pre-booking is not required.

If you have any queries, or would like to do the training but can’t make that day – please contact Pamela Holland (student rep EdD cohort 11) on p.holland@shu.ac.uk.  If there is sufficient demand, another session will be organised later in the year
