Converis is the University’s system for managing research grant applications and knowledge transfer activities. All external income should be recorded and approval to make an application should be sought through the system.
All staff, doctoral and MbyRes research at Sheffield Hallam must undergo ethical scrutiny. Ethics applications and reviews are also managed through Converis..

Temporary changes to Converis
With the establishment of Colleges and Research Institutes the Converis system needs to be restructured to reflect the relationship between Research Centres/Depts with both the new Colleges and the Research Institutes. To ensure business continuity a temporary work-around has been implemented and details are provided in the documents below.
