A student’s engagement with their teaching to support their learning is essential to ensure they are able to achieve and succeed. With this in mind the University has invested in Learning Analytics software, provided by Jisc, and developed accompanying views of course level data. In this Course Leader Fest 2020 session, participants were talked through how both the internally developed data view and the Jisc software can be used to review student engagement, and allow for targeted and improved student support, with the aim of improving student success and increasing student retention.
