Perfectly timed to coincide with Sheffield schools\u2019 half-term holiday, the event offered four hands-on activities for kids (and parents!) of all ages, inspired by the range of food-related research we do across our three food research clusters around attitudes to eating, plant-based foods, and food waste.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/chefscluster\/2023\/10\/20\/pgr-ecr-food-research-workshop\/\"><strong>CHEFS\/SWEFS\/SHARe PGR and ECR Food Research Seminar<\/strong><\/a>: three research presentations with some lively Q&amp;A, featuring CHEFS visiting PhD student Andrey Sgorla, SWEFS GTA PhD student Ufuoma Arangebi, and SHARe ECR lecturer Jordan Beaumont. Participants will hear about some of the many ways in which Sheffield Hallam research is addressing sustainability in the food and drink sector; test their knowledge with a sustainability quiz while sampling sustainable wine and canap\u00e9s; and enjoy a mini tutored tasting featuring sustainable wine and whiskey.
