Toe in the Water Clinics
We are delighted to announce a 6 month collaborative project between CAHPR Yorkshire region and CLAHRC Y&H. This will take the form of a series of Skype clinics aimed at AHP researchers with research ideas and unsure where to go with them or how to proceed. This will allow individuals to have tailored support and advice from experts in their area of interest with the aim of enabling AHPs to make their research ideas a reality.
Securing health service research funding is a competitive process and can be daunting at the best of times. These ‘toe in the water’ consultations offer AHPs the chance to discuss and refine new research ideas in an informal way. The consultations provide the opportunity for people to have supportive, exploratory conversations with someone from a similar professional background with experience of successfully obtaining research funding. The conversation can be used to refine research ideas or to identify further help and support needs. The consultations aim to empower AHPs to participate in research, to develop innovative approaches to clinical practice and to improve outcomes for patients.
We will be announcing some new clinic dates in January 2018, the dates will be posted here.
Further information available from Stephanie Portier after January 2018.
