Professor Virginia Heath<\/a>‘s documentary film From Scotland With Love<\/a><\/em> will feature in two unique screenings with Q&As at the Glasgow Film Festival<\/em><\/a> as part of GFF Movie Memories<\/a><\/em>: Sunday 1st and 8th March. Movie Memories<\/em> is a monthly programme funded by Life Changes Trust, which is designed especially for people affected by dementia including carers, friends and family. The screenings are therefore dementia friendly, autism friendly and captioned.<\/p>\n

Dementia activist Agnes Houston MBE<\/a> will be hosting the Q&As with Director Virginia Heath<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Made entirely of Scottish film archive,\u00a0From Scotland With Love<\/em> is a 75 minute film by award-winning Director and Sheffield Hallam University Professor of Film Virginia Heath<\/a> with transcendent score by Scottish musician and composer King Creosote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A journey into our collective past, the film explores universal themes of love, loss, resistance, migration, work and play. Ordinary people, some long since dead, their names and identities largely forgotten, appear shimmering from the depth of the vaults to take a starring role.<\/p>\n
