Dr Claire Craig<\/a> and Helen Fisher<\/a> were today welcomed by Professor Jason\u00a0<\/span>Bainbridge, Canberra University\u2019s Executive Dean of Faculty of Arts and Design. Professor Bainbridge has published widely on strategic communication, media and merchandising, popular culture and the law. <\/span>The meeting offered an opportunity to share mutual research interests and to identify potential areas for collaboration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Claire Craig and Fanke Peng<\/p><\/div>\n

Claire and Helen are being hosted by Dr Fanke Peng<\/a> whilst visiting University of Canberra\u00a0this month to begin a programme of engagement in the research and establishing research collaborations with colleagues from a range of different sectors. As part of this they are taking part in the\u00a0Living Longer, Living Well<\/em><\/a>\u00a0symposium. Read more about the collaboration here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Claire Craig<\/a>\u00a0is Reader in Design and Creative Practice in Health in the\u00a0Art & Design Research Centre<\/a>\u00a0(ADRC) and Co-Director of the interdisciplinary research group\u00a0Lab4Living<\/a>. Claire\u2019s research focuses on the role of creative practices in improving quality of life and well-being for people living with dementia.<\/p>\n
