Performance artist Hester Reeve recently presented a new performance lecture \u2018Artamovement \u2013 David Bohm\u2019s Dialogue and the Holographic I\u2019 at the Pari Centre of New Learning in Italy.<\/p>\n

The presentation slides were formed of hand-written quotations and drawings exploring the theme under investigation (and these will provide the basis of a forthcoming artist publication under the same title).<\/p>\n

The Pari Center is an alternative academy, founded in 2000 by the physicist-philosopher David Peat, a former student and friend of David Bohm, along with Maureen Doolan\u00a0in the medieval Tuscan village of Pari.\u00a0The centre fosters an interdisciplinary approach linking science, arts, ecology, ethics and spirituality.<\/p>\n

This work is part of a strand of Hester’s research exploring Bohm’s Dialogue, an approach to group interaction philosophy described by theoretical physicist David Bohm in his book \u2018On Dialogue\u2019.<\/p>\n
