Associate Professor Steve Reay from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand and Lab4Living’s\u00a0Dr. Claire Craig<\/a> recently facilitated a workshop at the recent\u00a0European Academy of Design conference<\/a> in Dundee (11th-14th April 2019).<\/p>\n

The theme of the workshop was ‘exploring tensions in interdisciplinary collaborations’. Through a series of crafted activities embodied in the game ‘Initiate:Collaborate<\/a>‘, developed by Claire and Steve, twenty participants were given the opportunity to explore the tensions and opportunities that bringing together the academic disciplines of design and health.<\/p>\n

The workshop generated much discussion, insight as well as laughter as participants grappled with questions such as: ‘what does success in a design for health project look like?’ and ‘how do we build foundations for a successful collaboration?’.<\/p>\n

Good Health Design<\/a> and Lab4Living<\/a> have been regular collaborators\u00a0 since 2017.
