\"Photograph<\/a>The\u00a0Voyage Around My Room<\/em> exhibition\u00a0embarks from Virginia Woolf\u2019s legendary essay A\u00a0<\/em>Room of One\u2019s Own<\/em>, written in 1926, and its relevance to newly introduced sociological and political concepts like digital feminism and the #metoo<\/a> movement. The room (ma chambre<\/em>), personal space as described in Xavier de Maistre’s classic book Voyage Autour de Ma Chambre<\/em> (1794), where the title derives from, as well as concepts such as privacy, autonomy and self-expression are key points of reference \"Photograph<\/a><\/em>to the exhibition works created by international contemporary artists and writers. The exhibition attempts to initiate a new discourse on the notion of room and personal space in continuation to the discussion that originated in classic essays and works of literature.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Voyage Around My Room<\/em> will be accompanied by an educational program, reading nights and the presentation of a limited edition publication (Greek and English) with original texts from\u00a0Sam Albatros, Jeanne Graff, Philomena Epps, \u00a0Dimitra Ioannou, Antony Katsouris, Sharon Kivland, Kika Kyriakakou, Sylvere Lotringer, Antonia Marsh, \u0395fterpi Mitsi, Maria F. Dolores, Theodoros Chiotis on Wednesday 17 April.<\/p>\n
