She is also concerned with the effect of political struggles and political representation on the personal private lives of people who exist in a conflict zone. Following the path of Palestinian visual images from the thirties till today, filmmaker Azza El-Hassan, looks at the effect of the theft and destruction of Palestinian visual archive, by the State of Israel on Palestinian visual narrative.<\/p>\n<p>She is the winner of several international film awards, such as The ALEPH Award, LUCHINO VISCONTI Award, and BBC GRIERSON Award (best Newcomer). Her work has been selected and screened at various international film festivals around the world including IDFA in Holland, Yamagata in Japan, and Berlinale in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>She collaborates with several international TV networks, such as, ZDF, WDR, BBC, ARTE and Al Jazeera International, for whom she has produced and\/or directed various documentaries.
