{"id":6347,"date":"2012-10-01T12:00:39","date_gmt":"2012-10-01T11:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/?p=6347"},"modified":"2019-04-01T16:55:51","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:55:51","slug":"lab4living-shine-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/lab4living-shine-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Lab4Living wins The Health Foundation SHINE award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sth.nhs.uk\/services\/a-z-of-services?id=277\">Princess Royal Spinal Injury Unity<\/a> and\u00a0the\u00a0Clinical Improvement Team at\u00a0Sheffield\u00a0Teaching Hospitals Trust, <a href=\"https:\/\/lab4living.org.uk\/\">Lab4Living<\/a> has been successful in winning a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.org.uk\/funding-and-partnerships\/programmes\/shine-2012\">SHINE award<\/a> from The\u00a0Health Foundation to implement the spinal injury design workshops and \u2018measure\u2019 the impact of them on\u00a0the\u00a0spinal injury patients using various clinical metrics.<\/p>\n<p>Building on previous work between Lab4Living and the Princess Royal Spinal unit, the pilot workshops have been condensed into four shorter workshops that fit within the standard rehabilitation timetable and programme at the Princess Royal.
