The importance of hearing the voice of people using technologies was a significant theme arising throughout the week which included sessions on the IOT roadmaps for embedded systems and Industrial IOT, discussion of the strategic research and innovation agenda and debate around IOT privacy and society.<\/p>\n<p>The week comes at a key point in the development of IOT \u2013 the publication of the Digital Single Market Strategy by Europe and the growing recognition of IOT in relation to healthy cities and e-health.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week Claire Craig facilitated a workshop exploring the role of creative practice in understanding user experience as part of the Internet of Things Week Lisbon.
