The Catalyst-funded Lab4Living project, The Power of Sheffield Journeys<\/em><\/a>, in collaboration with Kathy Marwick, Home Instead<\/a> and vocalist Susan Housely brought together older people in an event at High Green.<\/p>\n

Kathy Marwick has been working on a number of projects across the city in an attempt to reduce the social isolation many individuals experience and when she heard about the project headed by Lab4Living\u2019s Claire Craig<\/a> saw this as a possible vehicle to create change. The event held at High Green\u2019s Paces Centre<\/a> offered older people an opportunity to \u2018connect\u2019 with memories of journeys across the city through film and music. The event was a huge success and discussions are underway in terms of how to extend its reach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
