The research project led by Lab4Living&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/claire-craig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Claire Craig<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northumbria.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-staff\/w\/jayne-wallace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jayne Wallace<\/a>\u00a0at Northumbria University explores the potential of film and digital technology in helping older people to re-connect with meaningful journeys and build community connectedness. The work particularly seeks to understand how the arts (most notably film and photography) can promote social inclusion of older people and people living with dementia.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Cooper (Sheffield Community Transport), Nigel Wragg (Supertram) and Keith Sheard (First Buses) &#8211; community partners in the project &#8211; were invited to share the work with transport colleagues across the region at the Yorkshire and Humber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dementiaaction.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dementia Action Alliance<\/a>. Of the event Dave Cooper said, \u2018we talked about our pride to be involved in such an amazing project.
