{"id":5993,"date":"2018-10-05T16:12:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-05T15:12:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/?p=5993"},"modified":"2023-09-21T11:52:51","modified_gmt":"2023-09-21T10:52:51","slug":"2018-11-19-ciolfi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/2018-11-19-ciolfi\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday 19 November 2018 &#8211; The Collaborative Economy Symposium @ SHU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/luigina-ciolfi\">Professor Luigina Ciolfi<\/a> will chair a workshop at the forthcoming Collaborative Economy Symposium hosted by Sheffield Hallam University on 19 November 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The terms \u201cSharing Economy\u201d or \u201cCollaborative Economy\u201d have been commonly used in recent years to refer to a proliferation of initiatives, business models and forms of work. The COST Action \u201cSharing and Caring\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/sharingandcaring.eu\/\">http:\/\/sharingandcaring.eu<\/a>\u00a0) (2017-2021) is working\u00a0to develop a European network of actors (including scholars, practitioners, communities and policy makers) focusing on the development of collaborative economy models and platforms and on its implications on society and technology.<\/p>\n<p>The COST Action provides opportunities for working and collaboration on this topic across 31 countries.\u00a0\u00a0This one-day Symposium will bring together interested participants to hear about current research on the topic of the collaborative economy and its implications and to discuss possible joint initiatives and projects.
