The images are from an unpublished body of work Andrew undertook in the late 1990s documenting calendar customs across England called Another England<\/em><\/a>. Andrew is currently re-visiting and extending the project as part of his involvement in the newly<\/span>\u00a0founded Centre for Contemporary Legend<\/a>\u00a0at Sheffield<\/span>\u00a0Hallam University with David Clarke<\/a> and Diane Rogers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Centre for Contemporary Legend aims to create an institutional base that can act as a focal point for those working in the field of folklore and legend studies, continuing Sheffield’s international reputation for the academic study of contemporary legends. The CCL held its inaugural symposium<\/a> in November 2018.<\/p>\n
