See <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/index.cfm?pg=events&amp;eventcode=F89FF0D7-A551-8054-EA7D4EBE41C5178D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n<p>A wealth of digital cultural heritage content is currently available in on-line repositories and archives, it is however accessed only in a limited way and utilised through rather static modes of delivery. <em>meSch<\/em> bridges the gap between visitors\u2019 cultural heritage experience on-site and on-line by providing a platform for the creation of tangible smart exhibits, that enables heritage professionals to compose and realise physical artefacts enriched by digital content without the need for specialised technical knowledge: the platform includes an authoring environment for the composition of physical\/digital narratives to be mapped to interactive artefacts, and an embedded multi-sensor digital system platform for the construction of ad-hoc physical adaptive smart objects.<\/p>\n<p>The Fair of European Innovators in Cultural Heritage is a key event of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage (<a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/cultural-heritage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EYCH<\/a>), with more than 300 participants and stakeholders expected from Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>The event aims to support a Cultural Heritage innovation ecosystem through the establishment of a Community of Innovators in Cultural Heritage, investing in people who will make the change, in line with the Lamy report.
