\u200bWe are pleased to announce that Alaster Yoxall<\/a>\u00a0has been recognised by the Professoriate Committee for his outstanding contribution to Sheffield Hallam and beyond, and now holds the Professorship of Packaging Ergonomics.<\/p>\n

Alaster has been involved in the ‘Inclusive Design’ of packaging for a little over 12 years. He was the UK’s technical expert in the development of ISO 17480<\/a> Packaging Accessibility guidelines. In addition, he has extensive experience in measuring people’s capabilities, observing people opening packaging and developing solutions. He is currently involved in a number of projects working with academia, business and healthcare professionals to improve packaging accessibility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
