{"id":4890,"date":"2018-05-30T12:00:15","date_gmt":"2018-05-30T11:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/?p=4890"},"modified":"2018-07-26T12:01:15","modified_gmt":"2018-07-26T11:01:15","slug":"lise-autogena-under-her-eye","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/lise-autogena-under-her-eye\/","title":{"rendered":"C3RI Professor Lise Autogena speaking at the international arts-science summit  &#8216;Under Her Eye: Women and Climate Change&#8217; &#8211; 01 and 02 June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>C3RI <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/lise-autogena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Lise Autogena<\/a> will be speaking this week at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bl.uk\/events\/under-her-eye-women-and-climate-change\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Under Her Eye: Women and Climate Change<\/em><\/a>, a high profile international arts-science summit at The British Library on 1st-2nd June, to explore and celebrate the role of women taking action on climate change.\u00a0The summit is headlined by Booker-prize winning author, Margaret Atwood, Christiana Figueres, previous Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC, \u00a0Hakima El Hait\u00e9, Moroccan Minister for the Environment and Caroline Lucas MP, Co-Leader of the Green Party.<\/p>\n<p>The event brings together a wide range of pioneering women working globally to tackle the environmental challenge of our age through art, science, technology, finance, health, activism, leadership and policy \u2013 united by the power of the arts to tell these stories, spark conversations and inspire change.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bl.uk\/events\/under-her-eye-women-and-climate-change\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Under Her Eye: Women and Climate Change<\/em><\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bl.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The British Library<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>01 &#8211; 02 June 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event is curated by <a href=\"http:\/\/invisibledust.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Invisible Dust<\/a> as part of the 2018 Suffrage Centenary.
