Reader in Fine Art\u00a0Dr Sharon Kivland\u00a0<\/a>will have work featured in\u00a0<\/strong>SET UP<\/em><\/a>,<\/strong> an exhibition taking place at the\u00a0Cit\u00e9 internationale des arts<\/a>\u00a0in Paris\u00a0this Friday 06 April.\u00a0SET UP\u00a0<\/em>is a public rendering of the research projects of five artist\/commissioner pairs as part of a collaboration between CEA<\/a> (Association fran\u00e7aise des commissaires d’exposition<\/em>) and the\u00a0R\u00e9seau documents d\u2019artistes<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sharon Kivland will be reading from\u00a0Un discours amoureux<\/em><\/a> (A Lover’s Discourse) and highlighting the books of imprint\u00a0MA BIBLIOTH\u00c8QUE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I read unsolicited \u2018encounter\u2019 emails as if they were intended for me alone in a sincere desire for a real love relation, until their repetition bored me.I posted them on Facebook, while I sought their form. My friend A. C. wrote to tell me how much he was enjoying my lover\u2019s discourse. The form became clear: after the French edition of Roland Barthes\u2019s\u00a0Fragments d\u2019un discours amoureux<\/em>\u00a0(\u201cTel Quel\u201d, Seuil, 1977).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
