{"id":4417,"date":"2018-03-05T11:55:55","date_gmt":"2018-03-05T11:55:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/?p=4417"},"modified":"2018-03-05T13:58:23","modified_gmt":"2018-03-05T13:58:23","slug":"connected-manufacturing-8-15-march-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/connected-manufacturing-8-15-march-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Connected Manufacturing&#8217; networking events announced for local SMEs from the Digital Sector &#8211; 8 &amp; 15 March 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Researchers from C3RI&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/research\/specialisms\/cultural-communication-and-computing-research-institute\/research-centres\/communication-and-computing-research-centre\">Communication and Computing Research Centre<\/a> will be taking part in a number of &#8216;Connected Manufacturing&#8217; events across Sheffield as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/sip.ac.uk\/\">Sheffield Innovation Programme<\/a> (SIP).<\/p>\n<p>Connected Manufacturing is a workshop for local SMEs from the digital sector that are interest in collaborating with the manufacturing sector to accelerate digital innovations in manufacturing businesses. A two day programme includes sessions with specialist experts from both of Sheffield&#8217;s universities focused on digitisation for manufacturing, servitisation, digital transformation and cybersecurity in manufacturing and the tools and technologies that can be applied.
