Readers in Fine Art Hester Reeve<\/a> and Dr Sharon Kivland<\/a> will both have their work featured in a new exhibition at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery<\/a> entitled\u00a0Hope is Strong<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>The exhibition seeks to explore the power of art to question the world in the turbulent times in which we live.<\/p>\n

With far right parties and hate crimes on the rise, civil liberties and minority rights seem more at risk today than we could have imagined. In these turbulent times,\u00a0Hope is Strong<\/em>\u00a0explores the power of art to question the world we live in.<\/p>\n

See work by one of the world\u2019s foremost politically motivated artists, Ai Weiwei, alongside Jeremy Deller’s\u00a0The Battle of Orgreave Archive (An Injury to One is an Injury to All)<\/em>, chronicling the confrontations between police and striking miners in South Yorkshire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
