In a context where artists\u2019 publications arouse the interest of many actors in the field of art, it is a question of offering contemporary perspectives on this phenomenon, marked by a tension between the alternative positions and the research of institutional recognition. <\/p>\n<p>The words of the solicited artists were thus collected with a triple aim. <\/p>\n<p>First, draw a panorama of artists&#8217; publications today. Then, to determine, among the tools which allowed thinking about the practice of the book of artists of these last decades, which remain operative to understand current manifestations.
