Fine Art Research Scholar Rose Butler’s short film Fish<\/a><\/em> will be screened at the This Way Up<\/a><\/em>, the UK film exhibitors’ conference taking place this year in Hull on 07 and 08 November with support from The British Council as partner of Hull City of Culture 2017<\/a>. Across both days of the conference, a selection of short films will be screened in Audrey<\/a>, the elegant Vintage Mobile Cinema outside of Hull Truck Theatre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fish<\/a><\/em> will be screened as part of a selection of artists\u2019 moving image from ten years of the One Minute<\/em><\/a> project: artists\u2019 moving image selected, screened and distributed by Hull based artist filmmaker and curator Kerry Baldry. The One Minute<\/em>s are an eclectic mix of approaches, techniques, media and processes, all having one thing in common – that they have been edited within the time limit of sixty seconds.<\/p>\n

Rose Butler<\/a> is an artist, researcher and senior lecturer of Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University, she works with video, photography, sound, animation and installation. She is a Doctoral Researcher registered in C3RI and sponsored by the SHU Vice Chancellor\u2019s Scholarship Scheme. She is also a board member of Bloc Projects<\/a> and a freelance artist mentor.
