A journey into our collective past, the film explores universal themes of love, loss, resistance, migration, work and play. Ordinary people, some long since dead, their names and identities largely forgotten, appear shimmering from the depth of the vaults to take a starring role. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/virginia-heath\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Virginia Heath<\/a>, who appears alongside Kirsty Wark, Brian Cox, Ian Rankin, Bill Paterson and various Scottish luminaries, was interviewed as director of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fromscotlandwithlovethefilm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">From Scotland With Love<\/a><\/em> for a short campaign film to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nls.uk\/collections\/moving-image-archive\" target=\"_blank\">National Library of Scotland&#8217;s Moving Image Archive<\/a> project. At the launch of the campaign for support for the forthcoming move to new premises in Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, Virginia speaks about the the importance of preserving a moving image archive for cultural heritage.
