Made entirely of Scottish film archive, From Scotland With Love<\/a><\/em> is a 75-minute film by award-winning Director and Sheffield Hallam University Professor of Film Virginia Heath<\/a> with a transcendent score by Scottish musician and composer King Creosote<\/a>. A journey into our collective past, the film explores universal themes of love, loss, resistance, migration, work and play. Ordinary people, some long since dead, their names and identities largely forgotten, appear shimmering from the depth of the vaults to take a starring role. <\/p>\n

From Scotland with Love<\/em> will be screened on TV and at various venues and events as below:<\/p>\n

BBC2 Scotland <\/strong>

Commonwealth Games <\/strong>
\nThere will be a big public screening on Glasgow Green on 31 July with live music performance of the score as part of the Commonwealth Games Culture Festival. Information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cinema Tour<\/strong>
\nThere will also be a \u2018cinema tour\u2019 of the film on the theme of Questions of Scottish identity, with Q&A\u2019s with Virginia and King Creosote.
