He was honoured at the Tamil University, Thanjavur, India on 15th August 2015 for his contribution in the field of Tamil Computing.<\/p>\n<p>His interview on &#8216;Big data in Tamil: Opportunities, benefits and challenges&#8217; was published in the Indian Express (Chennai and Tamil Nadu editions) in September 2015, and he has also been invited by the Government of Tamil Nadu&#8217;s Tamil Virtual Academy to contribute towards the state&#8217;s IT policy and initiatives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a recent visit to Tamil Nadu, India for a conference and data collection field work, Computing\u00a0PhD student Vigneshraj Ramachandran Subramanian\u00a0was invited to deliver a guest lecture in his area of research.
