An expert advisory group was appointed to provide an additional reference point for the network. <\/p>\n<p>The report presents background and rationale for the research, outlines the activities undertaken by the expert network partners then describes the research methods adopted. The findings from the research are described and presented visually and exemplar case studies from each of the network partners articulate the valuable contribution of design in healthcare. The report draws some conclusions on the potential implications from the findings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/paul-chamberlain\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Paul Chamberlain<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/research.shu.ac.uk\/lab4living\/about\/people\/daniel-wolstenholme\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel Wolstenholme<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/matthew-dexter\" target=\"_blank\">Dr Matt Dexter<\/a> are researchers working with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/research\/specialisms\/cultural-communication-and-computing-research-institute\/research-centres\/art-and-design-research-centre\" target=\"_blank\">Art &amp; Design Research Centre<\/a> at Sheffield Hallam University and also for <a href=\"http:\/\/lab4living.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lab4Living<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/paul-chamberlain\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Paul Chamberlain<\/a> is also the Head of the ADRC, Director of Lab4Living and Professor of Design at Sheffield Hallam University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The State of the Art of Design in Health describes an investigation funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to establish greater understanding of the extent of Design theory and practice within the context of health.
