Running from 4 &#8211; 7 December 2017, this biennial event invites health and design practitioners and researchers to come together at the start of the summer season in at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcg.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">MCG<\/a>, Melbourne, Australia.\u00a0December is a great time of year to see Australia, explore Victoria, and exchange the innovations that develop when health and design combine ideas and research for common purpose.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is\u00a0hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdiengage.com.au\/events\/d4h2017\" target=\"_blank\">Centre for Design Innovation<\/a>, Faculty of Health, Arts and Design at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swinburne.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Swinburne University of Technology<\/a> in partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lab4living.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lab4Living<\/a>\u00a0at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sheffield Hallam University<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/research\/specialisms\/cultural-communication-and-computing-research-institute\/research-centres\/art-and-design-research-centre\" target=\"_blank\">Art and Design Research Centre<\/a>.\u00a0Lab4Living, who established the conference in 2011, is now working with The Centre for Design Innovation at Swinburne University of Technology to take the conference in a new direction. The Centre for Design Innovation investigates and validates the key factors that underpin the design of products, services, systems, spaces, and symbols to improve the chance of user uptake and impact.<\/p>\n<p>Sophisticated and stimulating, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitmelbourne.com\/uk\" target=\"_blank\">Melbourne <\/a>is renowned as a city of arts, culture and sustainability, being voted the world\u2019s most liveable city for three years in a row.
