Kirchin, an English drummer and composer, is known as a pioneer of <em>musique concr\u00e8te<\/em> and has been described by Brian Eno as, \u201ca founding father of ambient\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hull2017.co.uk\/whatson\/events\/cityofcinema\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hull: City of Cinema<\/a><\/em> is a three day event celebrating Hull\u2019s filmmakers, television makers and cinemas, past, present and future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 26 March 2016<br \/>\nMiddleton Hall<br \/>\nHull HU6 7RX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Abstractions of Holderness<\/em> will be introduced by Esther and presented at 1.10PM preceding <em>The Problem of Perspective<\/em>, a series of screenings illuminating a distinctly northern perspective on the history of artists\u2019 moving image in England.
