Somewhere Becoming Sea<\/em> reflects how expanses of water that divide countries are also channels that connect them. This exhibition of international artists\u2019 work with the moving image takes a closer look at the ever-changing boundaries between land and sea, exploring Hull\u2019s long-standing prominence as a gateway to the North Sea and beyond. <\/p>\n

At a time when climate change threatens to blur boundaries further and bring far-reaching economic impact, the exhibition captures the sea\u2019s elemental power and asks: is everywhere now Somewhere Becoming Sea? <\/p>\n

There will also be a symposium Sounding The Sea<\/a><\/em> held at Ferens Art Gallery and Hull University, that reflects on the Somewhere Becoming Sea exhibition themes.<\/p>\n
