This exhibition, curated by artist<span class=\"x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_il x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0\">Victoria<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0\">\u00a0<\/span>Lucas, is centred around JMW Turner\u2019s painting\u00a0<i class=\"x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0\">The Festival of the Opening of the Vintage at M\u00e2con<\/i>.<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>PostNatures<\/em> sees Lucas draw on the constructed composition of Turner\u2019s painting to highlight how imaginary subjects can affect our individual or cultural perceptions of reality.\u00a0The exhibition features a range of artworks and objects from Sheffield\u2019s collections which depict other representations of the relationship between women and nature, alongside recent works from\u00a0Victoria\u00a0Lucas and the <strong>Heavy Water Collective<\/strong> (comprising artists <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/c3riimpact\/researcher-blog-introducing-maud-haya-baviera\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maud Haya-Baviera<\/a>, Joanna Whittle and Victoria Lucas).
