Research Lead for the Department of Art & Design Dr David Swann<\/a> has been invited to attend the first in a series of ‘Plans for Growth: Industry and Skills’ Roundtable discussions hosted by Policy Connect<\/a>. The first event scheduled for 22 November at the House of Lords, will be a larger roundtable meeting with Labour’s Bill Esterson MP, Shadow Business Minister, and Baroness Jenny Chapman, Shadow Cabinet Minister and Education spokesperson in the Lords, to discuss two recently published documents setting out the party’s plans for industrial strategy and also Lord David Blunkett’s commissioned report on learning and skills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
