The project features an ark which will travel through Sheffield before a performance at the Crucible theatre highlighting people&#8217;s fears and frustrations around the climate crisis. <em>Ark<\/em> is a is a cross-cultural community conversation about climate change featuring participatory activities throughout March, leading to a large-scale event at The Crucible on 06 April 2022 as part of <em>Together in The City<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk\/news\/together-in-the-city-a-series-of-community-projects-culminating-in-a-sharing-event-at-the-crucible#:~:text=Together%20in%20the%20City%20is,participation%20projects%20within%20local%20communities.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Together in the City<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is the culmination of a year-long programme of activity supported by the\u00a0Garfield Weston Foundation, whose funding has enabled wider development of Sheffield Theatres\u2019 participation projects within local communities.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more about the project on the <em>Ark Sheffield<\/em> website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ark-sheffield.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/tom-payne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Tom Payne<\/a> is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Acting &amp; Performance, and\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/about-us\/our-people\/staff-profiles\/julia-udall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Julia Udall<\/a> is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Together in the City Ark Sheffield, led by Dr Tom Payne and Dr Julia Udall, has been featured in the Sheffield Star.
