Dr Clarke, from the University&#8217;s Culture and Creativity Research Institute, is one of the authors of\u00a0<em>Reclaiming Robin Hood: Folklore &amp; South Yorkshire\u2019s Infamous Outlaw.\u00a0<\/em>It has been launched with Sensoria Festival and Loxley Primary School as part of a campaign to reclaim the legend, it explores the South Yorkshire tales, trails and traditions behind the legend and it is part of an ongoing campaign to celebrate the folk hero\u2019s local roots. <a href=\"https:\/\/shu.us18.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=03229e2cd78c49d0b6ed57f8a&amp;id=e29526d647&amp;e=a874ef3521\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"10\">The Sheffield Star reports on the launch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new book co-authored by Sheffield Hallam&#8217;s Dr David Clarke exploring the region\u2019s Robin Hood folklore has been published.
