\u201cDesign for Deliberation\u201d: How Can Design Research Methods Support the Use of Research Evidence to Improve Adult Social Care Provision?<\/a> <\/strong>– Lead supervisor: Dr Joe Langley<\/a>.\u00a0The successful candidate will be ‘working alongside a team of three design researchers based in Lab4Living<\/a> led by Dr Joe Langley and in the context of a \u00a31.6 million research project funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) led by Prof Annette Boaz from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine’<\/p>\n

‘Facing the Biological Divide: collaborations between art, design and bioscience’<\/strong><\/a> – Lead supervisor: Professor Peter Lloyd Jones<\/a>. This practice-based PhD will explore how artistic and design methodologies can be productively combined with biomedicine to help improve and sustain health and wellness in more inclusive and diverse ways. The research involved will build upon established models of collaboration operating across disciplinary boundaries. The project will be directed by Lab4Living<\/a>‘s Professor Peter Lloyd Jones and Dr Kaisu Koski<\/a>.<\/p>\n
