SHU PGR Student, Sophie Parkes-Nield, Publishes Debut Novel

The debut novel by Media and Communications PhD student, Sophie Parkes-Nield, was published on 26 January. Out of Human Sight is set in Saddleworth in 1832 and follows Millie Barkwell in the aftermath of the notorious murders of her grandfather and uncle, inspired by the real-life Bills o’Jack’s murders.
