{"id":91,"date":"2019-03-22T11:50:41","date_gmt":"2019-03-22T11:50:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/autismlearningresource\/?page_id=91"},"modified":"2019-03-22T12:37:12","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T12:37:12","slug":"learning-and-teaching-resources","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/autismlearningresource\/learning-and-teaching-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning and Teaching Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These resources can be used in learning and teaching by showing the videos on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/autismlearningresource\/\"><strong>Perspectives on Autism<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> page to lead into a discussion (perhaps prompted by the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Topics for Discussion<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alternatively, we have created interactive presentations that use shorter video extracts to explore more granular themes. They include suggestions for webpages to explore and papers to read. These presentations can be shared easily and embedded into Blackboard sites, supporting different learning and teaching approaches such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.ac.uk\/shutel\/2014\/06\/04\/flipped-classroom-an-approach-to-teaching-and-learning\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">flipped classroom<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each presentation was created with Microsoft Sway (they will open in a new window, so if you&#8217;ve got a pop-up blocker you may have to deactivate it).
